The City of Minneapolis is hosting several listening sessions in coming weeks to gather feedback on a potential minimum wage policy for employers in the City of Minneapolis. Your voice and viewpoint at these sessions is crucial as a restaurant leader.

Upcoming meetings include:

  • February 27: small and independent businesses, 5-6:30 p.m. Firefighters Hall and Museum, 664 22nd Ave. NE

  • March 2: South Minneapolis community, 6-7:30 p.m. Mayflower Church, 106 E. Diamond Lake Road

  • March 3: Southeast Asian community, 11 a.m.-noon, Harrison Recreation Center, 503 Irving Ave. N.

  • March 15: LynLake/Uptown/Whittier businesses, 12-2 p.m. Jungle Theater, 2951 Lyndale Ave. S.

All meetings are open to the public, though each will have a specific audience focus. Meeting organizers will use a variety of mechanisms to engage community stakeholders and will have interpreters available.
